Fashion designer Stella McCartney makes a line of trendy kids clothes that are stylish yet still age appropriate. There is a promotional video for the line that is super cute, featuring kids modeling the clothing in a play time setting that perfectly captures the precious joys of childhood.

For a commercial it is surprisingly adorable. The clothing line is available on the company website, and it is overall very cute and trendy. It includes not only clothing but accessories like rain boots as well. The website features a section called Stella's Little Project, which is devoted to promoting creativity and fashion design to children. For example, they are able to design a t-shirt and upload the image to the website. Stella will then personally choose a first place winner, and that design will be manufactured and sold on the website. 100 runners up will also win free copies of their designs.

The Tea Collection is a designer girls clothing line that is inspired by Hungarian art. Decorative postcards featuring Old World Hungarian art by Karoly Reich were used as the inspiration behind their latest collection.

Karoly Reich is a famous Hungarian artist and children's book illustrator, who creates charming linocut, watercolor, and gouache works that are colorful and fanciful. His works can be difficult to find online, but it turns out that a random assortment of Japanese book sites collect his work. Two of his books , Matt the Gooseherd and Let's See the Animals, inspired designs in the Tea Collection line, which can be purchased online from the company's website. Reich's Let's See the Animals book teaches children about a variety of woodland creatures, most of which live in Hungary and North America, and it is illustrated in crayon, which makes it especially unique.

Trendy kids clothes in Budapest can mainly be found in three locations. There is Brendon, which is a chain of massive baby-focused superstores around Hungary. It has an excellent selection of everything from toys to clothing. The second place to look is in the new clothes shops and boutiques across the street from the maternity hospital on Baross utca. And there are lots of chain shops, including the Gap and Marks & Spencer, as well as a newly-opened H&M in downtown Budapest.

A third option are the many second-hand shops scattered throughout the city. There are several upscale used clothing shopson Arany Janos utca between Nador utca and the korut. There is also a clothing shop called Humanic that is just across from the Kempinski Corvinus Hotel, and a second hand store right across from Humanic also has a large selection of kids clothing.
